Balancing the Dimensions of Wellness
My physical and emotional wellness are off balance.
My behavioral goal is to increase my physical activity and make healthier decisions to improve my physical and emotional health.
To achieve these behavioral goals, I will start by tracking my daily steps and ensure I take at least 10,000 steps. I will take the stairs rather than the elevator at work and take short walks on my breaks. I will make sure I get adequate rest and sleep. I will start on homework an hour earlier, giving me time to get to bed earlier. I will be well-rested and able to think with a clear mind. I will eat more green vegetables with my lunch and dinner and remove carbs such as bread or potatoes. I love spinach and broccoli; I will add these to my grocery list, so they are readily available.
Physical health is significant to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Any slight change to increase activity can have a considerable impact. Taking extra steps daily can improve my overall health, and exercise helps make a healthy heart. This will improve my overall health by taking just a tiny action. I will feel better, not sluggish, and have more energy throughout the day. I usually start my homework at 7:00pm each night; my goal would be to start it at 6:00pm. I will start right after dinner and complete it by 9:00pm to get to bed at a reasonable time. I will get a fair amount of sleep, be rested the next day, and not be so irritable. Eating green vegetables is proven to improve gut health. By incorporating this into my daily meals, my body will feel better, I won't have any bloating, and I will have good digestive health. I can significantly improve my overall health by making small changes to my daily lifestyle. I will feel better, have a clearer mind, and progress well in my courses!
